We can help you reach your weight goals quickly and safely.
What can I expect when following on of 360 MWS's weight loss plans?
During your first visit to our office, you will receive the tools needed to start your weight loss immediately. Our initial assessment includes a medical history evaluation, physical exam, and complete metabolic profile. Using this initial assessment, we work with you to determine the best plan for your weight loss goals. While using our diet plans, you choose how many pounds you want to lose and how quickly, and we partner with you to ensure success.
Our providers at 360 MWS guide you through every step of your weight loss journey. As your partner in weight loss, we meet with you weekly at our clinic, by phone, or by email to safely monitor your success while using our diet program. We also update your metabolic profile and adjust your regimen as needed.
As you work toward your weight goals, our friendly and encouraging practitioners offer meal suggestions, medications for appetite suppression, and meal replacements as needed. We understand that each person will need different types of support. Your weight loss plan may include any of the following, depending on your health and weight loss needs:
Meal Replacement Diet
The meal replacement diet is based on three meal replacement shakes each day, combined with one full meal of whole foods. The meal replacement shakes are made with whey protein from New Zealand grass-fed cow’s milk. It has five times the amount of amino acid than standard whey milk and allows your body to build muscle and lose fat. For some who cannot tolerate whey protein, we also offer a vegan pea-based protein meal replacement.
While on this diet, patients are recommended to drink about three liters of water per day. Hydration is very important to weight loss and allows your body to maintain an optimal functioning state. We recommend that patients set a goal each day and track the amount of water they consume.
Weight Loss Medications
Prescription weight loss medications can be used in conjunction with our weight loss programs at 360 MWS. Weight loss medications are different from weight loss supplements. Supplements are not FDA approved and have no evidence-based effects on weight loss. On the other hand, the prescription weight loss pills used at 360 MWS have been FDA approved for over 50 years and have proven results in weight loss and appetite suppression. Our providers prescribe the best weight loss pills to meet your specific diet needs.
Below are the most commonly prescribed weight loss medications offered at 360 Medical Weight Specialists. Speak with one of our staff members for more information about these and other medications.
- Phentermine is a 12-hour appetite suppressant that helps with all-day food cravings.
- Phendimetrazine is a short-acting appetite suppressant, which curbs cravings that are stronger and more sudden (i.e., mid-afternoon or after dinner).
Nutritional Education / Counseling
At 360 MWS, we offer nutritional support, including nutritional education and counseling that is personalized for you. We provide customized grocery lists that will guide you in your shopping and meal planning at your favorite grocery store. We also provide scientific research to help you understand the way your body is affected by certain foods, and how to optimize your energy levels, vitality, and weight loss.
Our providers are not only board certified in weight loss but are also athletes themselves. We draw on research from our training as well as our personal experience with exercise and weight loss to inform our patients and guide them through their weight loss program.
