Christy Hollis is a board certified Physician Assistant. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Calif. State East Bay, and her graduate degree from Stanford University’s PA Program. She spent her first 7 years working in acute care, in both emergency and urgent care settings. During this time, she realized our medical community needs to spend much more time on preventative medicine and lifestyle modification to help prevent and/or treat many of today’s chronic diseases. It was this realization, in combination with her passion for nutrition and fitness, that 4 years ago led her to change her career focus to weight loss and weight maintenance. She loves teaching patients about macronutrients, metabolism, and how to modify any recipe into a healthier version. She feels there’s nothing more exciting than helping someone create a life changing journey towards improved health and wellness.
