Interval training is a great way to give your weight loss a boost. Weight loss is overall driven by total calories consumed in the day but exercise can help stimulate the metabolism and provide even greater results. Interval training should be done at your own level. If you have been walking for exercise, try increasing the speed for 1 minute at a time. Other options include walking up hills instead of walking on flat ground. If you are running or biking for exercise, interval training could be increasing the speed of the run or the resistance on the bike for one minute at a time.
